It has been a great start of the year for Fundación CIMA and our project "En route to life".
During the months of January, February and March 2022, the vehicle at the disposal of women in Hidalgo has managed to transport 402 people; that is, breast cancer patients and their companions, to the capital of Mexico to receive their cancer treatment.
Unfortunately, we see that the need has increased. Largely as a consequence of the pandemic and the interruption of treatments during this time, and on the other hand, because of the increasing incidence of metastatic cancers in the area. That is why in Fundación CIMA we are considering acquiring a larger vehicle with the capacity to transport a minimum of 10 people at a time, and thus multiply the help.
We are deeply grateful to all those who have joined our project and have contributed to make it possible.
We would also like to share with you some testimonies of the patients who have benefited from this, which we hope will inject you with empathy to continue helping them.
