Empowering Underserved Youths by Digital Learning

The project aimed to assist 200 under-served youths provided with necessary digital skills access to digital learning resources and tools by leveraging technology, we aim to empower individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and bridge the skills gap that exists due to limited resources and opportunities. By harnessing the power of technology and digital learning, we aim to bridge the skills/educational gap and empower individuals who have been historically marginalized.

Digital skills are key to digital transformation and a significant enabler of each country's digitization. Instilling the necessary skills has become a key part of national digital transformation strategies. Strengthening digital skills will narrow the global digital divide. Among the main reasons why people are not using the Internet in developing countries is the lack of capacities and skills, either to use technologies or to benefit from the information and services available online.

Objectives:   The primary objectives of this project are as follows: Provide under-served youths with access to digital learning resources and tools. Enhance

Target Population: The project will focus on serving under-served youths (Boys & Girls), including but not limited to: Low-income communities with limited access to quality education.

Expected Outcomes: 

Improved Digital Literacy Skills: One of the key expected outcomes of the initiative is improved digital literacy skills among students and educators. By providing training, resources, and support for digital literacy development, we can ensure that students and educators have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a digital age.

Increased Engagement: Another expected outcome is increased engagement among students and educators. By integrating digital tools and resources into the curriculum, we can create more engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Enhanced Teaching Methods: The initiative is also expected to result in enhanced teaching methods. By providing educators with the resources and support they need to effectively integrate digital tools and resources into the classroom, we can improve teaching methods and increase job satisfaction among educators.

Improved Student Performance: The initiative is expected to result in improved student performance. By providing tailored digital resources and personalized learning experiences, we can improve student outcomes and increase academic achievement.

Increased Access: The initiative is expected to increase access to digital tools and resources for all students, regardless of socioeconomic status. By advocating for digital inclusion and providing resources to underserved communities, we can reduce the digital divide and promote equal opportunities for all students.

Progres during the reporting period: 

3 batches composed of 20 youths were completed 3 months long training on Basic Computer and Freelancing in house training.

3^rd batch ihas already been completed in April,2025 while 4th batch are under process to start training.

Appeals:

We would like to say no money yet received in this connection. However, since we have started till today VIEW borne the operational cost out of our resources. Without funding support how long, we will continue is a matter of concern. Some activities have been just started and while others activities will also be taken into consideration to implement. Budgetary funding is necessary to implement the programmes. By this time very small amount of funding were arranged through GlobalGiving to meet the operational cost. This project would not have been possible without the kind support and help of donors, friends and any individuals. Every donation, no matter how small or big rather it makes a significant difference in empowering these individuals and building more resilient communities. Together, we can make a real impact and support the project on their path to a better future.
