EarlyBird256 empowers students to use Arts education and creativity to free themselves from poverty and societal challenges. The scholarship has been mentoring and providing scholarships to a group of students.
Our mantra of #doinglittlethingswithpassion invites students to collaborate with us to combine resources so that they, too, can actively invest in their education. Meet Kafuba, one of the students in our program. Kafuba has been using his culinary skills and interests to work this holiday break to help his family and buy school materials.
Kafuba has been selling samosas and chapati in his village as an extension of the entrepreneurship workshops, earning to purchase school materials for the upcoming term. Kafiba is also contributing to his household.
Our goal for senior 4 is to have Kafuba, and the rest of the students attend boarding so they can entirely focus on studying for their National Exams.
