Smile Charity South Sudan has reached 50 adults and 100 children in Ayod and Pigi Counties with awareness messages promoting gender equality in education. The initiative aims to increase community understanding of the importance of equal access to education for both girls and boys. Through community engagement and awareness activities, participants were encouraged to challenge gender-based discrimination, harmful social norms, and barriers that prevent children, especially girls, from attending and completing school. The intervention promotes inclusive and safe learning environments where every child has equal opportunities to learn and succeed. Smile Charity South Sudan remains committed to advancing gender equality and quality education.
