Access Nature Late Spring Programs

By Shantala DuGay | Board Member & Programs Director

Boys & Girls Club Late Spring program.
Boys & Girls Club Late Spring program.

In late Spring of 2026, we hosted two programs as part of our Access Nature initiative which brings the benefits of nature to underserved communities.

In May, thirty kids from the local Boys & Girls Club joined us to learn about planting and growing food and flowers.

Later in early June, we celebrated the wonders of nature with the clients of Community Based Services, an organization that serves adults with intellectual challenges.

We are looking forward to serving our local seniors over the summer, and are busy planning more meaningful programs in the Fall. Thanks to everyone who supports this initiative to link people of all abillities with the land in our community.
