Artisans of Cancuc weaving a new home collection.

By Silvana | Communication Leader

In collaboration with San Juan Cancuc's weavers we are developing a new collection of home textiles to be presented in #DWM15. The group of artisans are weaving very fast and they are very happy because we are integrating new products to its textiles catalog, what keeps them motivated to produce 5 new pieces that we have developed along with them.

For these new collection we have rescued the more complex technices in which San Juan Cancuc people weave their traditional huipil, we have also added new colors, and developed a new color palette inspired by autumn-winter season, as well as different materials with better quality, having as a result new textures in the new collection.

We are really excited to present San Juan Cancuc's new collection among the other new textile collections we are currently developing in collaboration among the other 4 communities we work with.
see you next Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October from 11:00 to 18:00 hrs, @ Design Week Mexico.
