Mobility, Access and Independence for PWDs

Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) continues to support persons with disabilities by providing essential assistive devices that improve mobility, accessibility, communication, education, and independence.

Our progress and impact include:

• 10 Wheelchairs Delivered – Supporting persons with physical disabilities to move more independently and participate in daily life.
• 100 White Canes Distributed – Helping visually impaired individuals improve safe and independent mobility.
• 150 MP3 Players Provided – Supporting visually impaired students and individuals with access to audio learning and educational materials.
• 100+ Hearing Aids Provided – Helping Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals improve access to communication, education, employment, and everyday activities.
• Individual Needs Identified – DWAF continues to connect with persons with disabilities and their families to identify those who cannot afford essential assistive devices.
• More Beneficiaries to Reach – The need remains significant, and many persons with disabilities are still waiting for mobility and assistive support.
