Empowering Futures for Children in Liberia

Summary

HELPING CHILDREN INC is grateful for the support received to date for the Empowering Futures initiative in Liberia. We have received our first donation and continue to promote the project to reach additional supporters. While we have not yet secured sufficient funding to begin full implementation, we remain committed to launching the program as soon as the necessary resources are available.

Current Status

The need remains significant across many rural communities in Liberia, where children continue to face barriers to education, nutrition, healthcare, and hygiene. During this reporting period, we have focused on project planning, community outreach, and identifying potential local partners who can assist with implementation once funding is secured.

Activities Completed

• Continued promotion of the project through online fundraising platforms and outreach efforts.
• Engaged with potential partners and supporters to raise awareness about the needs of vulnerable children in Liberia.
• Developed preliminary implementation plans for education, nutrition, healthcare, and hygiene support activities.
• Identified priority beneficiary groups and target communities for future assistance.

Challenges

Although we have received initial support, funding levels are not yet sufficient to launch the full project. Additional resources are needed to provide school supplies, nutrition support, healthcare services, and hygiene assistance to the children we aim to serve.

Next Steps

As fundraising efforts continue, HELPING CHILDREN INC will:

• Expand donor outreach and awareness campaigns.
• Seek partnerships with organizations and supporters interested in children's welfare and education.
• Finalize implementation plans and monitoring systems.
• Prepare for immediate project launch once adequate funding is available.

We remain hopeful and encouraged by the support received so far. Every contribution brings us closer to providing vulnerable children in Liberia with access to education, nutrition, healthcare, and hygiene support.
