Thank you for joining us in the journey this amazing 2019 has been. Full of learning and inspiration. Walking with these +200 senior school students (ex-forced labor children, today stronger teenagers) the path from dreaming and planning, to taking action and responsibility for their lives.
In the last coaching session, the students received their Dream Board, the ones they designed at their first session with us. It was a special moment of reflection about the journey we made together, and the one they were about to start by themselves.
Clotilde was one of them. She was a student that attended classes holding her five-month-old baby in her arms. With pride and a special bright in her eyes she shared with us: “Neither my mom thought I was going to be able to graduate, look at me now! It was not easy, but I was determined, and with great people around to support me. Everything is possible.”
We have started 2020 signing agreements with 4 of the education institutions that have participated in the Vocational Orientation Fair we offered last year. They are offering special scholarships for our students. Our plan is to reach more than 20 of them by March.
2019 is going to be a year for all of us to remember. In the name of all of the lives we were able to touch last year, a strong hug with a big thank you! You was one of the amazing champions that made it possible.
With gratitude,
Claudia
We have a waiting list of more than 10 night schools of at-risk teenage students we would love to work with. To help them find the way to Dream, Plan & Act, and achieve the prosperous life they all deserve, we need help. If you are willing to support them, please donate here. If you know someone who would like to help them, please feel free to share this email. Have a wonderful 2020!
