News of our program

By Laurence LIGIER | Project Leader

Dear Donor,

We're glad to send you some news of our activities, and share with you the testimony of Wilfredo, one of our former beneficiaries.

We remain at your disposal for any question, and thank you for your continuous support.

The CAMELEON Team

Our beneficiaries licensed as teachers

Congratulations to our 12 Community Development beneficiaries who passed the March 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)! We wish them to keep the same courage and confidence in nurturing the youths and children in the community.

Activities for the parents

Last May, the CAMELEON Community Development Program held a family building activity in San Enrique, Iloilo. The activity aimed to strengthen the bond and connection among our partner families. Empowering parents to develop their capabilities in performing their roles and responsibilities to their children, building support systems, and strengthening relationships among family members are the first steps in achieving CAMELEON’s goal of creating child-friendly communities free from all forms of abuse.

Testimony

“CAMELEON is a multi-dimensional organization that focuses on children's rights and community development programs. It helped me transform to become a version of myself that I am proud of now. In terms of financial, social, emotional, and psychological well-being, CAMELEON left a remarkable impact to its beneficiaries by helping them develop their individual capabilities. The word “family” became even more meaningful because of the support of CAMELEON's programs. Despite the tough circumstances that we face on the daily, the essence of family remains. My deepest gratitude and snappiest salute go to the CAMELEON staff. And from my whole family, a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

– Wilfredo, Criminology Board Exam Passer, has been a sponsored child of the Community Development Program for 8 years
