The Slovenian Society for Dog-Assisted Therapy Tacke pomagacke continued its promotional activities for the handbook on overcoming the fear of dogs, From Fear to Friendship, by presenting it across various regions of the country. The handbook has drawn considerable attention from the general public, with particular interest noted in libraries.
In May, the first group of reference handlers completed a dedicated training program. The next training is planned for November 2025, after which the majority of the Association’s therapy dog handlers will be professionally qualified to conduct activities aimed at reducing fear of dogs.
We are deeply grateful for all the support, which we regard as recognition of the importance of our professional work.
