As we all know, last March, the 2019-2020 school year took an unexpected turn when the Guatemalan government declared a strict quarantine, and schools were closed. Due to the circumstances, PCI had to quickly develop a plan for online classes and determine how to best work with our students' resources at home. During this transition period, teachers and students had to adapt to the changes to make the most out of the situation and end the school year successfully.
Thanks to your support, we had the necessary resources to transition to online classes, something that most public schools could not do. Since the number of students per class is small, we could adapt to each one of their circumstances, figuring out the best way for them to learn even if they didn't have Internet access during school hours.
Your generous donations and the support of our community also allowed us to keep supporting our scholarship students. Without your help, these students would not have been able to finish the school year.
On behalf of everyone at ACEI and PCI, we want to thank you for your support.
We are starting this new school year full of hope and bringing in everything that we learned last semester.
