Student athletes competing in different levels train whole year round with the able coaches in order to harness their skills as well as prepare their mental and physical prowess in competing for their chosen sports event.
The goal of intensive training is not just to herald the school’s identity associated with sports but it is more of developing people to excel in the arena and to encourage individuals to go beyond their limits and exhaust their capabilities.
With the year-round trainings comes a breath of fresh air for the student athletes during the summer term. Student athletes, during this time of the year, are given the chance to mentor kids from the immediate community and with it comes an opportunity to share their passion for sports.
This kind of activity helps the student athletes practice on how to mentor athletes in the future. It is through interaction during the training sessions that the student athletes also get to assess the prowess of each aspiring athlete. Experiences such as these teaches the student athletes the value of selflessness in sharing not only their expertise but as well as their experiences in dealing with game plays during competitions.
Mentoring young generations to delve into the greatness of sports must be the core drive of every student athlete in this generation. This is essential in order to pass on the fire and passion for sports, with its deeper purpose of developing the youth in all aspects of their persona.
