This project will build four rooms in wakiso district, enabling these young women have classes where they will be learning vocational skills. Build a safe space were they will be able to talk to each other, share common problems ,encourage each other and get counseling and guidance since most of these women are victim of domestic violence.
According to research made by Blessed Life Foundation Uganda in the previous years many young women are being forced into early marriages since the education of a girl child is not as important to them as the boy child, hence these young women face all cases of violence in these marriages , resorting to single life with there children, this is one of the reason we came in, to support these young women access vocational training skills in order to better their lives and their children.
Blessed Life Foundation Uganda provides vocational skills as on of its core value specifically to single teenage mothers and adolescent girls who are school dropouts, these young women are trained and at the same time counselled to have courage to move on and change their lives through the free skills training we provide to them in order to change their lives and have a stable life with confidence hence they are able to have a better life and that of their children.
This project will train more than 100 young women allowing them to build confidence , change their lives through skills required hence being able to rise out of poverty which will help them support their children with no fear.
