GlobalGiving recently received an email from a concerned donor regarding the International Brain Education Association (IBREA). At GlobalGiving, we are dedicated to ensuring a satisfactory giving experience for all of our donors. As a global community and network, we also know that any partner’s situation can affect the community as a whole. As a result, we chose to temporarily place IBREA’s projects under review while we investigated the concerns of this donor.
After conducting more in-depth research and speaking at length with the team at IBREA, we have verified that IBREA is a legitimate organization in good standing with the IRS, implementing projects with a social benefit. As a result, we have chosen to reactivate IBREA’s projects on GlobalGiving.
Any recurring donations that had temporarily moved to GlobalGiving’s General Fund while IBREA was under review have been moved back to their original IBREA projects. Any donations made to the General Fund during this time have also been reallocated to IBREA's projects. We apologize for this inconvenience.
