The first school year in the new Genanaw Kerse Memorial School extension for 7th and 8th grade students is now officially over, and it was a success.
Students are grateful for their new classrooms, which provide a safe, clean, and more modern place to learn. The space is still simple and needs additional work before it is fully equipped, but it has already made a meaningful difference.
Our next priority is furnishing the classrooms with basic learning tools, including desks, bookshelves, whiteboards, dry erase markers, and books. These items are essential for students and teachers to make full use of the new space.
Donations make this progress possible. With your support, we can purchase needed materials locally whenever possible, helping students while also supporting local businesses and craftspeople.
Thank you for helping make this first year in the new extension a success. With continued support, we can keep building stronger classrooms for Genanaw Kerse Memorial School students.
