Compassiva's last few months have been marked by a series of events and programs aimed at our target audiences, to publicize our work, and to strengthen our ties with our students and supporters.
Between the end of July and the beginning of October, we held four events, three of which were for our students, former students and their families. These events reached more than 60 refugee people and provided moments of relaxation, self-care and socialization. They were made possible thanks to several donations and more than 20 volunteers.
September also marked Compassiva's tenth anniversary, which we celebrated with a charity dinner at an Arabic restaurant owned by a Syrian couple who were once among the people our organization served. The dinner, which took place on September 28th, brought together nearly 100 people and aimed to publicize our work and reach out to new donors.
Compassiva's last quarter was therefore a busy and positive one, not only in terms of the events held and the strengthening of relationships, but also in terms of the effective progress of other projects, such as the sheltering of families in vulnerability and the revalidation of diplomas.
