Our last quarter marked the second month of Compassiva’s project in partnership with B3 Social, which is focused on accompanying families attending Compassiva in all their necessities – from social assistance demands to guidance in employability and diploma revalidation. The idea is to offer a deeper follow-up to help families with their daily struggles.
Regarding our Portuguese workshops, on October 18th we started two new classes for beginners, providing classroom experience for almost 30 new students from Afghanistan, Congo, Egypt, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and other countries. This strategy helps integrating not only with other people integrating in a new culture, but also with native volunteers. We are also keeping our partnership with LingoPass, an online platform for language studies, which provides free Portuguese online classes for LAR students. It is a great supplement to their knowledge acquisition.
