Survivors in Paralegal Examination

Samrakshak Samuha Nepal (SASANE) has already completed the paralegal training 2016 in both Kathmandu and Pokhara. The paralegal interns in Kathmandu are still in their practical internship in 25 police stations in Kathmandu as the examination date is still not fixed. But in Pokhara, the paralegal interns have already appeared their paralegal examination. Among 26 girls 23 have successfuly passed the examination. Some of the passed girls are planning to work in the police station itself and some are planning to work in their hometown.

In this way till date SASANE has been able to produce 275 successful paralegals since the starting of the program. While this Kathmandu, because of the sudden transfer of the judge in the DIstrict Court, the routine of the examination is still not out because of which the girls are still in their internship. We call the girls every one month in the office to hear about their achievements and challenges and also collect reports of the number of application they have written.

We hope to receive your help and support to empower the girls and to help other girls in need by providing them with legal awareness and education to make them independent and confident in themselves.
