Here is my report for the Empowering Survivors of Human Trafficking (6231)

Report: Beginning of The Paralegal Training Program 2016

Recently, SASANE has started its paralegal training program 2016 both in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We have 30 girls and women coming everyday in SASANE office to receive the training. This time we have all the 30 girls who have been rescued from brothels in India and are all the survivors of human trafficking. This time the syllabus of the paralegal training has been changed and we had a slight difficulty in organizing the paralegal training.

We will have the theoretical training for one month where we will be teaching them about the legal rights and information regarding the constitution and human rights. The girls this time are able to grab the things taught quite easily. After the theoretical training we will have the girls placed in the police stations as the part of their practical internship.

With your little help we will be able to help these girls get the legal information and also help them gain economic independence. We expect that we will get the help from your side always in the future as well.
