Maasai dairy starting to produce cheese

By Frances James | Development Engineer

Dear all,

Although a slow start to the year with the Maasai dairy we are pleased to share with you that the dairy has now began producing cheese again!

We are so pleased that the dairy is producing sizable quantities of two different cheese types and selling them direct to a hotel in Arusha.

This is allowing us to support 2 communities of Maasai women as we can regularly buy cow milk from them. We hope in the next few months to be able to extend our operations to sell more cheese in Arusha direct to the cosumers - this is why are are once again asking for your kind donations to support us in buying a fridge for our office in Arusha to allow us to break into wider markets!
