Project Report | Feb 10, 2025
New Year, New Hopes for Fundacion Mediapila

By Clara Liparoti | Project Manager

In Argentina in 2025, the socio-economic context remains extremely challenging, particularly for women from vulnerable communities. These women continue to face complex realities marked by inequality, violence, and limited opportunities. In response to this, we have developed a comprehensive methodology aimed at addressing not only their technical knowledge needs but also their personal growth and empowerment. Our labor inclusion model focuses on three main pillars: technical training, personal development, and job placement.

In this first report of 2025, we bring to you 10 Reasons to Support our Cause

  1. Breaking the Cycle of Poverty: By providing education and skills, we help women build sustainable livelihoods and escape generational poverty.
  2. Promoting Gender Equality: We empower women in industries where they are often underrepresented, like technology and entrepreneurship.
  3. Labor Inclusion: Our programs are designed to ensure women can access formal employment, offering long-term security and income.
  4. Holistic Approach: We focus not just on technical skills but also on personal development, giving women confidence and resilience.
  5. Support for Migrant Women: Over 66% of our students are migrants, often facing additional barriers in the job market.
  6. Entrepreneurship Opportunities: Our sewing program encourages women to start their own businesses, fostering independence and innovation.
  7. Long-Term Impact: More than 300 women benefit from our programs annually, creating a broad and sustained impact.
  8. Diverse and Inclusive Environment: We welcome women from various backgrounds, creating a supportive and inclusive community.
  9. Addressing Urgent Needs: With high unemployment and poverty rates in Argentina, this program addresses urgent socio-economic needs.
  10. Direct Impact on Families: By empowering women, we indirectly support entire families, improving the quality of life for their children and communities.

Every contribution adds up so that we can accompany more women and young people this year. We hope you can join us in this much-needed cause.

Best regards,
