Claisse is one of Haiti Projects' top embroiderers. Clarisse is the goto person for all new designs that are in production and works closely with the Artisanat Director. Clarisse's work is top notch; she works quickly, accurately, and also is able to help us understand what works/doesn't work with new designs. Clarisse also teaches the craft of embroidery to others, and tells us that her daughter is quickly learning to do some of the hardest stitiches. Clarisse is assigned to the Haiti Projects' newest line of women's heirloom products for the US retail market. Here she is embroidering on the 100% linen laundry bag that will be part of Haiti Projects' spring 2018 collection. Clarisse's wages help to pay for food, clothing, and her kids school fees.
