Ella, seated to the far left in the attached picture was promoted to quality control expert. In this photo embroiders are bringing items to Ella that they have worked on at home. Ella will check each women's work and then let her know wheter her item passes inspection or not. Ella checks the design, the quality of the stiches and ensures that the colors are correct. Recently, Ella asked for and received a 10% raise for her work. We applaud Ella's ability to not only ensure the quality of items produced at the Artisanat, but also the steps she took to advocate for herself and to ask for a raise. Your support of the women at the Artisana has a direct impact on the quality of life for the women in rural Fond des Blancs. Thank You!
