In our storage room in Haiti, we have rolls of linen and cotton waiting to be made into nightgowns, pillows, eyeshades, market bags, etc. The problem with our system is that the linen and cotton are placed on the floor because they are much too large to fit into our storage closet. Today, we received donations to build new linen racks. These racks will make it easier for the women to measure and cut the fabric that they need to complete each project. Here are before and (hopefully) after photos of what we hope to build. We expect that our new system will save our women time, energy and help keep our raw materials better organized. Consider a purchase of our beautiful projects to support the women of our sewing cooperative.
