The BARKA Foundation has successfully organized school-based trainings for girls to produce locally made reusable menstrual pads. These trainings not only empower girls to meet their own needs but also enable them to support women in their communities who are most in need.
Throughout this school year, participants have gained valuable knowledge in menstrual hygiene management. They are now equipped to share these practices with their sisters, friends, and families, extending the impact beyond the classroom. This initiative is part of BARKA’s long-standing commitment to advancing menstrual health and supporting schoolgirls through programs that have been implemented for many years.
The positive effects continue to resonate across schools and communities in Fada N’Gourma, fostering dignity, health, and empowerment. We recognize that these achievements would not be possible without your ongoing support. Together, we are strengthening women’s empowerment and creating lasting change. Thank you for standing with us.
