Home for Efficient Care (HAE) is the job training workshop that we provide to domestic workers who are looking for a work. This workshop aims to provide them with tools so that they can conduct a good job interview, negotiate good work agreements, learn about the current law on domestic workers, law 31047, and value their work.
In this workshop, domestic workers share and realize the experience they have, the knowledge acquired over time and the qualities they have as a domestic workers. They also learn to create their job profiles to be better prepared at the time of the interview.
This year two of the three HAE sessions are in person and one is virtual. This allows domestic workers to complete their training faster.
We have had a great reception and there are many new beneficiaries.
We want to continue supporting women domestic workers and strengthen their work skills so that they have the knowledge and tools necessary to negotiate better working conditions that improve their lives and that of their family.
