Dear Donors and Supporters,
Warm greetings from INFEST Foundation!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of our efforts to empower women through sustainable livelihoods and entrepreneurship.
Since March 2026, INFEST Foundation has been facilitating activities to strengthen the economic capacity of former Indonesian migrant workers (Purna PMI) and migrant workers’ family members in Blitar and Ponorogo, East Java. Many women in these communities face limited economic opportunities and depend on household income that may be unstable. Through this initiative, we aim to help women develop their own businesses, generate independent income, and build a more secure future for their families.
As part of this effort, INFEST organized entrepreneurship training in Blitar on August 23 and in Ponorogo on September 12, 2026. A total of 60 participants joined these activities. The training encouraged participants to explore business opportunities, strengthen their entrepreneurial knowledge, and develop business ideas based on local potential and market needs.
In addition to the training, INFEST facilitates regular meetings of women’s business communities on the 14th of each month in Blitar and the 18th in Ponorogo. These gatherings allow women to share experiences, discuss challenges, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. We believe that building a supportive community is just as important as providing business skills, as women need opportunities to collaborate, access information, and encourage each other as they grow their enterprises.
Strategic planning is also part of our ongoing efforts to help women’s groups identify their strengths, recognize local economic opportunities, and establish practical steps for developing their businesses. By combining entrepreneurship education, peer support, and business planning, we seek to create a stronger local ecosystem in which women-led businesses can grow and become more sustainable.
We recognize that building a successful business takes time, persistence, and access to the right resources. Our work will therefore continue through community mentoring, business development support, and efforts to expand market opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
Your support helps make these opportunities possible. Every training session, community meeting, and shared learning experience brings women one step closer to greater economic independence and a better future for their families.
Thank you for standing with us and supporting women as they build stronger livelihoods and more resilient communities.
With gratitude,
INFEST Foundation
