Name : Bhawna ( name changed) Age : 21 Location : Rajashthan
Bhawna ( name changed) is a 21-year-old woman who along with her husband lives in Jhalara Patan, a small town in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. Her husband works as a labor in stone crushing factory, however finds it difficult to make both ends meet. Bhawana, a woman of courage, who really wanted to help out her husband and make use of her spare time, felt helpless owing to lack of skill set. It was at this time that she connected with Literacy India to join a vocational course for better life for her family and future family planning in future
Leader of the group interacted with Bhawna during beneficiary’s selection where she was enrolled in weaving training. She has been regular and a dedicated student but has proved to be a very quick learner.
In 6 months’ time, she has almost completed her training. Woman, full of zeal and confidence is today happily supporting her husband in financial matters as well. She makes towels with the Mohini Bai and feels proud of her self. It brings a sense of gratification to Literacy India to see such positivity going out of its organization.
