Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) is a grassroots organisation working across Bihar and Jharkhand, with over 55 years of experience supporting more just and self-reliant communities.Since 2005-06, the program has supported thousands of girls in Hazaribagh, Chatra, and Dumka in Jharkhand, and Gaya in Bihar, helping them complete secondary education, pursue higher studies and access employment.

Key achievements during the 2025-2026 reporting period include:

350 girls received direct educational sponsorship, helping them remain in school and continue their studies.
629 girls accessed additional academic support through 16 Remedial Coaching Centres, strengthening their performance in subjects such as Maths, Science, and English.
11,460 participants were reached through gender-awareness sessions, helping families and communities better understand the value of investing in their girls' futures.
8,197 participants took part in life-skills training and 9,172 in career counselling activities, equipping girls with the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to plan for their futures.

Alongside academics, the program promotes gender awareness, life skills, and career counselling, engaging girls, parents, and communities to create a supportive environment for education. We're proud to be supporting the next generation of footballers through our partnership with NBJK. Extracurricular team sports plays an important role in helping girls build confidence, resilience and leadership skills, with football proving a particular favourite. Sport has a unique power to bring people together, challenge social barriers and create opportunities for young women to grow both on and off the pitch.

We are proud to support girls from marginalised communities to access education, realise their potential and pursue their ambitions. Whether they become footballers, teachers, entrepreneurs or community leaders, we hope they carry the confidence, teamwork and determination they gain through sport throughout their lives.
