Dear Friends & Supporters,
We’re bursting with excitement as we share what went down at Khadija Girls College recently – and honestly, we couldn’t have done it without you!
From the very first whistle to the last bite of pasta, our annual Student Sports Week was everything we hoped for and more.
So, What Happened?
Picture this: Our campus turned into a mini-sports arena for an entire week. Students from every faculty and section dove headfirst into competitions that tested their strength, speed, and team spirit. We had:
Cricket matches that had everyone cheering like crazy
Badminton rallies that were fast, fierce, and so much fun to watch
Tug of war – oh boy, the screaming and laughing! Pure teamwork in action
Relay races that kept us all on the edge of our seats
But honestly? The real win wasn’t just about who came first. It was about seeing shy students step up, friends cheering louder for each other than for themselves, and everyone pushing their limits – all while smiling.
And Then Came the Food…
Because all that running and jumping works up an appetite, we wrapped up the week with a fun little food carnival – completely student-run! Our girls set up colorful stalls and served up delicious pasta, macaroni, and assorted rice dishes.
It wasn’t just about eating (though we did plenty of that!). It was about celebrating togetherness, showing off their cooking and organizing skills, and simply having a good time after all that hard work.
Why This Matters to Us – and to You
As you know, Khadija Girls College is a not-for-profit institution, proudly managed by the Al-Mustafa Welfare Society. Every penny we receive goes straight back into creating experiences like these for our students – experiences that go far beyond textbooks.
This Sports Week wasn't just about fitness. It was about:
Teaching our girls teamwork and leadership
Boosting their confidence and mental strength
Giving them a safe, joyful space to just be young and carefree
A Little Note from Our Hearts
We know times are tough, and yet you chose to invest in these girls’ futures. That means the world to us – and to them. Every race run, every plate of pasta shared, every high-five exchanged – it all happened because you believed in us.
Until next time – stay awesome!
With gratitude,
