Dear Donors,
This time, it took us a little more time to reach out to you and share the progress of our project, but the story we are sharing today is genuinely inspiring and rejoicing. This is one of the many success stories of our students studying at Khadija Girls College, which we are sharing with her full consent. The success doesn't only belong to Aisha or her family or the KGC's team, but to you as well.
The student's actual name has been replaced with an imaginary name, Aisha, concerning her privacy and GlobalGiving's policy.
Aisha, the eldest daughter in her family, faced numerous challenges as she aspired to pursue higher education and build a better future for herself and her family. With two younger brothers and parents with limited means, the financial burden of education seemed insurmountable.
After excelling in her studies and earning a 100% merit scholarship from Al-Mustafa Welfare Society, Aisha could attend Khadija Girls College, where she continued to demonstrate her academic prowess. She completed her Intermediate Pre-Engineering with excellent grades.
Studying at KGC was a turning point in her life. Here, we have always focused on encouraging and preparing girls, especially those from less-privileged backgrounds, to strive for higher education and apply to universities.
Supported by Al Mustafa's scholarship, Aisha was accepted into a prestigious BBA program at a university in Karachi, where she maintained an outstanding GPA of 3.8 and consistently held top positions in her class. We also ensured that her other expenses, such as her laptop, books, uniform, etc., were covered.
Aisha's achievements extended beyond academics, as she successfully published two research papers and completed a valuable internship at the government-owned House Building Finance Corporation, which not only enriched her own experience but also provided financial support to her family. Now, as she prepares to embark on her professional journey, Aisha is grateful for Al Mustafa and Khadija Girls College's assistance during her challenging journey, enabling her to uplift herself and support her family.
Aisha's story serves as an inspiring testament to resilience, determination, and the transformative power of education and support in overcoming adversity and achieving success.
