Dear Donor and Stakeholder,we are very happy to thank you very much for all the support that you have provided so far for our Plastic wastes collection and recycling project in Tanzania mainland. Thank you for proceeding implementing this project with us as for what you have given. During about three months, since we shared this project with you as our donor and stakeholder, we managed to mobilize and create awareness of two women groups and two youth groups. Those four groups have been sensitized and we are on the process of finding to establish their plastic wastes collection centres to help them start collecting plastic wastes as planned. Those groups established during are Wamama wa mboga saba, Effort group, Upendo group and Vijana watiifu group. Also, we have managed to keep collecting about 973 kilograms of plastic wastes.
We hope through your support we can reach to the activity of establishing 6 plastic wastes collecting centres for each group to make a total of 6 group targeted by one year implementation. Still we need to establish two more groups, one for women and other for youth to make a total of six groups as planned. Establishment of collecting centre needs enough capital for buying spring balance, fencing and rent. We still hope to afford those cost by cooperating with you through this fundraising platform. We need ongoing funds for the regular planning activities timetable prepared for now and keep preparing plastic wastes collecting centre to be used in collecting, measuring and taking to recycle area. The ongoingactivities require supervision to make sure that all plastic wastes collected are measured, stored in a way that they cannot spread again, so we need fund to prepare some those places to avoid pollution andthat is why we are on need of more fund to make sure those activities go well as planned.
We request you to donate generously to our project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals. You could also consider doing a monthly recurring donation for our project and even share these needs with your friends, colleagues, institutions, companies or your family, which will help us with our ongoing work.
