This project will empower 2,000 women survivors of domestic violence in Tanzania. Women will receive life skills, vocational training, and financial literacy education. Psychosocial support will help survivors recover and rebuild their confidence. The program will promote sustainable livelihoods through income-generating activities. The goal is to create safer, stronger, and economically independent communities
Many women survivors face violence, poverty, and social exclusion. Limited access to education and employment increases their vulnerability. Survivors often lack financial resources and livelihood opportunities. Trauma and stigma prevent women from rebuilding their lives successfully. Without support, many remain trapped in cycles of abuse and dependence.
Provide life skills and vocational training to 2,000 women survivors. Offer counseling and psychosocial support to promote healing and resilience. Deliver financial literacy and entrepreneurship development training. Establish savings groups and small business support opportunities. Conduct community awareness campaigns to prevent violence and discrimination.
2,000 Women will gain sustainable incomes and greater economic independence. Families will experience improved wellbeing, stability, and security. Communities will become more supportive of survivors' rights and dignity. Reduced dependence on abusive relationships will lower vulnerability to violence. The project will create lasting social and economic change across Tanzania.
