The school term was successful and we are happy all has been well especially with pandemic temperatures now reducing. The situation is getting better each and every day and we remain optimistic that soon it will be past tense. Our students in Youth Polytechnics are progressing well and they had a successful school term where they were busy preparing their agribusiness gardens and repairing areas that required repairs. Unfortunately the weather was not favorable for planting as the long rains did not come as expected. Normally the long rains are expected to start in mid-March and continue through May. This year the rains have started towards end of April and farmers are now busy planting their farms. Our agribusiness clubs had to hold on as well and since they have reported back to school for another school term, they are busy planting their school gardens. Most of them presented their budget for seeds, seedlings and other planting materials to us and we are happy we were in a position to support them. We could not have done it without your generous contributions and at this juncture we express our gratitude to all our well-wishers, friends and donors for their continued support. All beneficiaries were happy for the great support and together with us we say thank you very much. As earlier reported, we also managed to conduct training sessions in 3 youth polytechnics and since the schools schedules were tight, we could not manage to conduct all of them but we hope to do so this school term if time allows. The club also received new members as anticipated and we are happy to have them on board. We will be organizing training sessions for the clubs so as new members can catch up and understand our ideas and benefits of our agribusiness clubs. Trainings will be organized in course of the term in consultation with the center managers and club patrons. Again thank you for the continued support which we really appreciate.
