Learning about your growing body and your rights being a female gives one confidence. Our 100 teenage girls in grades 7 thru 9 at Tapang school, have learned to be able to express themselves without fear of rejection.
They know that they have the support of the community and their male students. They are not afraid to excel in class and on the sports field. Our girls soccer team has more league game wins than the boys team.
We are proud that they are usually in the first and second place in their class. They have benefitted from our twice weekly sessions with the professional nurse counselors from Angkor University. These councelors are a few years older than the girls and can certainly relate to thier needs.
Positve attitudes helps the inner self shine. The project is grateful to all the sponosrs that make this possible. The Dream Makers and fairy godmothers in disguise.
