Emotional Support for Children in Emergencies

This project is creating easy-to-use guides and practical resources that parents and caregivers can use whenever a crisis occurs. These materials are designed to help adults explain difficult situations in age-appropriate ways, encourage children to express their feelings, reduce fear and uncertainty, and create a sense of safety and stability during stressful times.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to equip parents with practical strategies so they can respond calmly, confidently, and with empathy when children need them most. Research consistently shows that a caring, emotionally available adult is one of the strongest protective factors for a child's mental health during emergencies.
