The Emerging Leaders program continues to develop supported by the collaboration of seventeen of the world's leading humanitarian organizations -- The Hilton Prize Laureates Collaborative.
In June, 2013 the General Secretary of the Collaborative visited Laureate program sites in Senegal and met with Country Directors there, setting the stage for Senegal to become the second pilot site for the Emerging leaders program.
Plannning for the Haiti pilot continues, with a major mapping exercise underway to inventory and detail literally hundreds of Laureate program sites across the country and help determine how Emerging Leaders interns would be deployed.
Meetings with major schools in the U.S., Europe and the Global South continue, establishing the pool of nominees for the initial Emerging Leaders class in early 2014.
