Challenge

Ongoing security threats and militant attacks along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border have triggered military operations in Tirah Valley, forcing thousands of families to flee their homes. More than 30,000 people have been displaced with little time to prepare. As winter intensifies, heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures have made displacement even more dangerous. Many families are stranded without shelter, food, heating, and basic services, facing severe risks to health, safety, and survival.

Solution

This project provides urgent relief to families displaced from Tirah Valley. It delivers winterized tents for shelter, hot meals and food supplies, blankets and warm clothing, and essential non-food items. Temporary tent schools ensure children continue learning. Community-based distribution ensures aid reaches the most vulnerable, helping families survive harsh winter conditions with safety, dignity, and hope.

Long-Term Impact

By providing shelter, food, warmth, and education, this project helps displaced families survive the harsh winter safely. Children continue learning in tent schools, reducing educational disruption. Families maintain dignity and resilience during displacement, lowering risks of illness and hunger.
