Four months into implementation, the Emergency Relief for Singer Market Fire Victims project remains in its active fundraising and early response phase. The project has set a funding target of $100,000 to support emergency relief and economic recovery for affected traders. At the time of this report, the full funding requirement remains outstanding, with $100,000 still needed and support received from one donor.
Despite current funding limitations, project coordination and beneficiary identification activities have continued to ensure readiness for rapid deployment once additional resources are secured. Priority financial allocations remain focused on emergency food assistance, medical support, and direct micro-grant distribution ranging from $100–$500 to the most vulnerable traders.
The financial goal remains critical to reaching the target of supporting over 1,000 affected individuals and restoring livelihoods for 500 traders. Continued donor engagement and fundraising efforts are being prioritized to close the funding gap and enable immediate disbursement and recovery activities.
