Emergency Relief for Lebanon

Thank you for your compassion and solidarity with the people of Lebanon during one of the most devastating crises in the country's modern history. Families across Lebanon are facing the compounding impact of economic collapse, political instability, displacement, and ongoing conflict ,  leaving millions without access to food, shelter, healthcare, and basic dignity.

Through American Aid (A A Relief), this emergency relief campaign is designed to mobilize rapid, life-saving support for the most vulnerable families and individuals ,  providing urgent essentials and helping communities survive and recover during an extraordinary humanitarian emergency.

Progress Update (This Quarter)

This campaign has just launched and is in its earliest stage of fundraising. While we have not yet received donations, we are fully prepared to deploy relief as soon as funding arrives. We have used this period to establish the operational foundation needed for fast, accountable delivery.

Key readiness steps this quarter included:

• Establishing coordination with trusted local partners on the ground in Lebanon for rapid deployment

• Identifying priority communities and families most affected by the ongoing crisis

• Preparing relief packages and logistics plans to ensure immediate response capability

• Developing documentation and reporting processes to maintain full transparency for donors

Community Need & Why This Project Matters

Lebanon is facing a multi-layered humanitarian emergency:

• Over 80% of the population lives below the poverty line, unable to afford food, medicine, or basic utilities.

• Displacement and conflict have left tens of thousands of families without safe shelter.

• The healthcare system is severely under-resourced, with hospitals unable to meet the surge in critical cases.

• Children face interrupted education, malnutrition, and trauma with little access to psychosocial support.

Without urgent intervention, families will continue to face preventable suffering, preventable death, and the loss of any pathway toward stability and recovery.

Program Model (What Funding Will Deliver)

As funding grows, American Aid (A A Relief) will deliver comprehensive emergency relief, including:

• Emergency food packages to address immediate hunger for displaced and vulnerable families

• Essential non-food items . hygiene kits, blankets, clothing, and household supplies

• Medical support ,  medications, hospital referrals, and critical treatment assistance

• Shelter assistance for displaced families with no safe place to return

• Rapid response coordination through verified local partners for accountable, targeted delivery

We will prioritize the most urgent cases and provide transparent reporting on all distributions and outcomes.

Challenges & Strategic Response

Primary Challenge: This campaign is newly launched, and funding has not yet begun. The scale of need in Lebanon far exceeds available resources, and every day of delay has real consequences for vulnerable families.

Our response:

• Maintaining full operational readiness so relief can begin immediately as donations arrive

• Expanding outreach to donors and partners who share a commitment to Lebanon's most vulnerable

• Strengthening documentation and verification processes to ensure every dollar is accountable and impactful

Next Quarter Plan (Pending Funding)

In the next quarter, as donations increase, we will:

1. Launch initial emergency food and essential supply distributions for priority families.

1. Begin coordinating medical referrals and treatment support for critical cases.

1. Expand shelter assistance to displaced households identified through verified local channels.

1. Share clear reporting on outputs (families reached, items distributed) and outcomes (reduced hunger, improved safety and stability).

Expected Long-Term Impact

With sustained support, this campaign will:

• Reduce preventable suffering and death by delivering urgent essentials to families in crisis

• Stabilize displaced families through shelter, food, and non-food relief

• Restore access to healthcare for the most medically vulnerable individuals

• Protect children's well-being through nutrition, safety, and psychosocial support

• Build a foundation for recovery by addressing immediate needs while supporting longer-term resilience
