Dear COHI Family,
We are reaching out to you in the time of COVID. The partners we work with along the Texas-Mexico border are experiencing extreme circumstances. Lack of Personal Protective Equipment and sanitation supplies have lead to unstable and dangerous medical services.
We have to understand, the challenge of COVID-19 that can feel insurmountable in the US, is also happening in Syria, Puerto Rico, and in migrant camps along the border. Consider this: how can you wash your hands when you don't have access to running water? How can you self-quarantine when you're living in a refugee camp? How can you get tested when you can't get to medical centers?
The Emergency Medical Care Fund was created for crises like this. Will you join us in getting supplies, emergency transport, and medical procedures to the families living in camps as they await asylum in the US?
In gratitude,
COHI Staff & Board
