Unsolved & Ignored Floods 2025 affected people looking help from AHD Pakistan
This is update from Pakistan floods 2025 project, in rural areas flood affected families still looking help and women and girls face difficult, poverty and shelter crisis about 33 million affected duding floods 2025 and still no help available for their education, food security and agriculture.
Let us build their skills and agriculture and water and sanitation, livelihood and health and economic and climate resilience initiatives
AHD Integrated Village Development Activities, interested to know more about these activities and impact created via AHD IVDM model activities.
1. AHD Nadi filter safe drinking water solution not only saves from Cholera, Gastro and Diarrhea and all water borne diseases but also helps to save from plastic bottle and water companies and plastic pollution.
2. AHD Climate Smart cooking stove, smart climate cooking stove does not save rural communities and women from smoke but also save 50% of wood and time and health and eyes of rural women. Since 2003 to till to date more than 285,000 cooking stoves have been installed by AHD and daily save 5 kg of wood and in just one month 1,425,000 kg and in one year 17,100,000 kg. Gas emissions save and support Carbon Credit to help communities save the environment and smoke free cooking in the kitchen. All over Pakistan in many rural and vulnerable areas communities have been using the fuel efficient stove for many years and taking their part to maximize the scalability of the Fuel Efficient Stove to save the environment and support UN SDG 7, 12 & 13.
3. Kitchen gardening: Vegetable cultivation on a small scale for households is a wonderful step to give fresh vegetables and save monthly income and support the health of rural families. Also supporting vegetation and plant plantation helps save climate emissions.
4. Tree plantation: The trees rich source to save CO2 Emissions and bring clean energy and AHD helped million trees in flood affected areas of coastal Thatta, Badin and Sujawal and all 3 three districts are good enough in 2025 floods and rural communities good enough. Trees planted 10,000 to 100,000 that estimate save carbon at huge levels.
5. CBOs formation and organizing in rural areas / coastal areas/climate hit areas support all climate activities to do smoothly and save climate and water and Carbon as well.
This model village development model activities do not save climate and water but also save rural communities and poor people and vulnerable groups.
