The Youth Empowerment, Education & Livelihood Development Project aims to improve the lives of vulnerable youth and women in rural and underserved communities across Nepal by increasing access to quality education, digital literacy, vocational skills, and entrepreneurship opportunities. The project will provide career-focused training, life skills education, small business support, and mentorship to help participants secure sustainable employment or start income-generating activities.
Many young people and women in Nepal face limited access to quality education, vocational training, and decent employment opportunities. High unemployment, poverty, lack of digital skills, and limited access to finance prevent them from earning sustainable incomes. Rural and marginalized communities are particularly affected, leading to increased migration, economic insecurity, and social inequality.
