Dear Friends,

Since beginning our partnership with GlobalGiving three months ago, Seeds of Africa has made great strides in advancing our mission, and we would like to share with you how your generous contribution has enabled our most recent accomplishments. Specifically, we have:

  • Moved to a larger and more suitable and sustainable Education and Community Center in Adama, Ethiopia,
  • Welcomed 15 new elementary students and their families into the Seeds community,
  • Hired and trained a new member of our Ethiopian Education team,
  • Hosted our first annual student-generated Seeds of Africa Art Exhibit,
  • Completed a series of innovative classroom projects, including student-led dramatic performances and beautiful murals,
  • And finalized our registration as an official Ethiopian, as well as US, non-profit.

In the coming months, Seeds will transition into full-time summer class sessions and take on exciting new projects, including offering literacy and business courses to the parents of Seeds children. We are also eager to announce the release of our first documentary and the much-anticipated, art-filled July fundraiser in New York City.

As we move forward, we would like to invite you to contribute to and track our growth by visiting our Facebook and Twitter accounts which are updated daily, as well as to explore our website, which will re-launch with new content in early July.

As always, the Seeds Team thanks you for your dedication and support. We look forward to sharing our accomplishments with you as we work together, building our technology center and improving the lives of children, families, and communities for generations to come.

Much Love & Appreciation,

Atti Worku
