The lives of the Cedar Village residents continue to be enriched every day. Our music therapist, Jude, helps our residents express themselves through music, both in group settings and individually.
In December, the annual Cedar Village Holiday Concert took place. Both the Cedar Village Choir and the Cedar Village Bell Choir performed. It is always so heartwarming to watch and listen to the Bell Choir. Dressed in festive shirts, they rang bells in perfect harmony when Jude pointed to each section of musicians. Being able to express themselves through music is very important. Most of these residents were not musicians in their former lives, but you would think that they all had been. Music is an important part of each resident’s day and they will continue to make beautiful music together.
