By Sally Korkin | Executice Director, Cedar Village Foundation
At Cedar Village in Mason, Ohio, we strive to enrich the lives of our elders through music, art and exercise. Recently, our residents participated in ceramics classes, choir rehearsals and exercise classes. With the support of donors, we are able to make the lives of our residents full of activity and excitement. From starting the morning off with light stretching to an afternoon of music appreciation and ending with painting, residents are actively engaged in ways they never dreamed possible.
As one resident said, "I may have some days with aches and pains, but once I am making flower arrangements or playing in the bell choir, I feel great.”
