Children in Gaza live under extreme conflict, displacement, and poverty, where even basic needs are luxuries and parents cannot afford simple clothing, let alone holiday gifts. Without intervention, thousands of children risk spending Eid, a time meant for joy, feeling forgotten and isolated, deepening the psychological toll of trauma and depriving them of their right to dignity and the simple happiness of childhood traditions.
Through the Eid Clothing for Children in Palestine project, YEÇED delivers new Eid clothing packages to children in Gaza's most vulnerable areas and shelters, personally identifying and reaching those in need to ensure every gift is delivered with care. Beyond the clothing itself, this initiative offers children a vital sense of normalcy, dignity, and psychological relief amid long-term instability, showing them they are not forgotten. By preserving cultural traditions and moments of joy, YEÇED helps protect children's mental well-being and fosters the hope and resilience essential for the healing and future of a generation living in crisis.
