Egyptian Food Bank-Odheya 2026

For many families, Eid Al-Adha is a time of gathering around the table, sharing a meal, and celebrating together. For families facing food insecurity, however, having access to nutritious meat during Eid can be a challenge.

Through the Odheya 2026 Project, the Egyptian Food Bank, with the generous support of its donors, helped bring the spirit of Eid to families in need by distributing approximately 340 kg of Odheya meat to 340 families.

With an average of three individuals per family, the project reached an estimated 1,020 people, providing families with access to a valuable source of protein and helping them enjoy a more nutritious Eid meal.
