Matching Day Success!

By Emma | EDV Media and Marketing Director

He's learning, thanks to you!
He's learning, thanks to you!

First of all, thanks so much to everyone who gave on June 13th and had their donations matched by 50%! Together, you gave $870 in just one day!

Because of you students like Berline, Wilkens, and Isma can keep studying English and working towards gainful employment. You keep orphans eating nutritious meals, happily enjoying their summer camp, and succeeding in school.

We continue to be impressed by our students’ dedication to learning despite the overwhelming challenges they face. In September, our English students will take their next round of exams, and we can’t wait to update you on the students’ and teachers’ continued growth.

Preparing for their exams is hard work, but you know what they say about all work and no play. So when donor Jim asked us to teach the word “supercalifragilisticexpialodocos” to the students, we knew it would be a great opportunity to have a laugh with the class. Check out the fun here.

We hope you enjoy, and thanks so much for all you’ve give.
